ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF CHEMISTRY & BIOMOLECULAR SCIENCE - CLARKSON UNIVERSITY


The Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Science at Clarkson University (http://www.clarkson.edu/biosci_chemistry/index.html) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to start Fall 2017. Research expertise that complements that of current faculty and builds on departmental strengths in the broadly defined organic chemistry and materials areas will be considered. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in the area of organic chemistry and will support the department’s undergraduate, MS and PhD programs in Chemistry and Biomolecular Science. Clarkson offers a highly interdisciplinary and collaborative research environment, and opportunities for affiliations with our Center for Advanced Materials Processing or other Clarkson research centers are abundant. The successful candidate is expected to develop a vigorous, creative, externally funded research program. Candidates must have a Ph.D. with outstanding research potential.
