Biochemistry position, candidates are expected to provide stimulating, innovative, and equity-based teaching focused on student success in general and introductory chemistry in addition to the lower and upper division courses in biochemistry, and to develop and sustain an externally funded, independent research agenda. Research in all areas of biochemistry is appropriate; expertise in bioinformatics, chemical biology, and biomolecular modeling would complement existing research capabilities, and could lead to research collaboration and/or course development.
