CSP Postdoctoral Fellowship for Underrepresented Groups in the Sciences

Participation of groups that are underrepresented in STEM disciplines is essential to the health and vitality of science and engineering. The Center for Sustainable Polymers (CSP) is dedicated to broadening the participation of underrepresented groups in the sciences, and to that end welcomes applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship for Underrepresented Groups in the Sciences.

Eligibility:
Applicants must have completed their PhD by the start of the fellowship, and identify as an underrepresented minority in the sciences (e.g. female, genderqueer, transgender, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latinx, Native American or Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander, bisexual, gay, lesbian, queer, have a disability, or be a veteran of the US Armed Forces, Reserves, or National Guard).

Application Process:
Please send a cover letter describing your interest, your current CV, and up to three selected publications by email to Jennifer Henderson (csp@umn.edu). In your cover letter indicate which CSP Senior Investigator(s) are most aligned with your future research interests (See: http://csp.umn.edu/people/investigators/) and a brief statement describing how you intend to contribute to the center’s effort of broadening participation among underrepresented groups in the sciences. Applicants who do not follow the application procedures will not be considered.

Application deadline: December 2, 2016 for start date in calendar year 2017.
