EPA Aquatic Toxicity Lab Support
The EPA Environmental Research and Business Support Program is searching for two EPA Aquatic Toxicity Lab Supports with the Office of Research and Development at the EPA facility in Duluth, Minnesota. The Supports will assist in one of several aquatic toxicology projects evaluating different aspects of chemical toxicity in aquatic organisms. The job is expected to begin November 2016.

Full time, $20.04/hour

Must have earned a Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, toxicology, chemistry, or a closely related field

Must have experience in molecular biology assays, cell-free, cell-based, or tissue-based in vitro assays, data collection, spreadsheet preparation, and data analysis

Will perform tasks such as testing amphibian toxicity, maintaining chemical records, keeping track of inventories, cleaning laboratory glassware, and writing operating procedures
