EPA EnviroAtlas Data Support Associates
The EPA Environmental Research and Business Support Program is looking for two EPA EnviroAtlas Data Support Associates with the Office of Research and Development at the EPA facility in Research Triangle Park, NC. The Associates will provide data management, data curation, and data analysis. The job is expected to begin November 2016.

Full time, $27.72/hour

Must have earned a Master’s degree in geospatial science, geography, ecology, environmental science, geosciences, or a related field

Must have experience in GIS, data compilation, remote sensing and image processing, Python and R or other scripting languages, ENVI, and GeniePro and/or eCognition software

Will perform tasks such as analyzing land cover maps, processing GIS data layers, creating metadata and fact sheets, performing literature reviews, and documenting code
