At Fischione Instruments, technology is our product, but our success is achieved through people. We are currently seeking a highly dedicated, career-minded individual to join our team as a Laboratory Technician.

In the role of Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing specimen preparation services and tracking specimens by maintaining the appropriate historical information for quick and accurate identification. The incumbent will make accurate measurements using micrometers, calipers, and semi-automatic measurement devices and operate sample preparation instruments including, but not limited to, precision saws, disk cutters, dimpling grinders, ion mills, and plasma-generating systems. In addition, the incumbent will maintain a Class 7 clean room.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience in a related position and proficiency with light optical microscopes. Experience with SEM and/or TEM is a plus. The focus of this job is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures. Precise, consistent work output is essential requiring patience and a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time.
