Post Doc Position - IRACDA

I am writing to make you aware of a unique NIH-funded postdoctoral program here at Virginia Commonwealth University. The program is called VCU IRACDA, and it provides postdoctoral trainees with a traditional mentored biomedical research experience, plus mentored teaching experience. IRACDA trainees are heavily recruited for academic faculty positions. We are in the 6th year of our program, which was recently been renewed by NIH. We have placed 90% of the trainees completing the program into faculty positions.

We are currently accepting applications for postdoctoral fellows who will begin work at VCU in 2016 or early 2017.  I encourage applicants to get in touch with me, and the current VCU IRACDA fellows, to ask any questions they might have about the program. More information and the online application are available at: http://www.healthdisparities.vcu.edu/Research--Training/Research-Trainin...

The VCU Medical College of Virginia campus is in downtown Richmond. Richmond is an affordable city which is attracting a growing number of creative young professionals. There are new residential lofts, restaurants, and galleries opening every month along the white-water of the James River.
