A postdoctoral position is available in Prof. Thomas Epps' group in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department at the University of Delaware focusing on the synthesis and solution-assembly of stimuli-responsive polymers for drug delivery and gene-therapy applications. Interested candidates should have a background in one or several of the following areas: controlled/living polymerization of end-functionalized polymers, stimuli-responsive polymers, macromolecular coupling approaches, and/or solution characterization of nanostructured and responsive biomaterials. The position is available immediately with a term of one year and may be extended for an additional year based on satisfactory progress and additional funding considerations.
