Research II Assistant

NanoScale laboratory seeking assistant for lab and office areas.
Duties include cleanroom maintenance, lab cleaning, stocking, filing, inventory tracking, record keeping, excel data processing, and/or general upkeep tasks for the laboratory space. Recurrent tasks would include checking and refilling lab supplies such as gloves, wipes, and cleanroom gowns, and alerting staff when supplies are low, stock review inside our cleanroom controlled environment, peeling dust collection floor mats, basic cleaning in lab space, recording stock levels of various supplies, and processing weekly temperature output data.
Other tasks may include data collection or review, organization of storage spaces, or light cleaning. Some lifting may
be required, estimate of 25 pounds general lifting required for duties. Some tasks may be more closely involved in

In addition, student worker will be offered training on state-of-the-art NFCF equipment (possible examples: UHV evaporators, ICP etchers, lithography instruments or electron microscopes). Duties may include assisting staff with process development, standardization of tools operation procedures and more. These duties will be based on the interest of the student, when such projects are available.
Applicant must be detail-oriented, able to effectively and clearly communicate, able to perform some light lifting and bending when necessary. Part time position with daily presence of 2-4 hours schedule preferred for stability of lab maintenance, times flexible. Freshman or Sophomore Undergraduate with expectation of summer availability preferred.
