Tenure-Track Position #2- Grinnell College

GRINNELL COLLEGE – Biology Department (Biochemistry)- TENURE-TRACK POSITION (START FALL 2017)

The Department of Biology invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in Biochemistry beginning Fall 2017. Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) with post-doctoral experience preferred. Successful candidates will teach in Grinnell’s innovative, research centered undergraduate biology curriculum and develop an active research program involving undergraduates. The teaching schedule will include at least 1.5 course equivalents of Introduction to Biological Chemistry, along with courses at other levels of the biology curriculum relating to the candidate’s specialty, including an advanced biology elective that can also count as an elective toward the biological chemistry major.
