Tenure-Track Position - Bucknell University

The Department of Chemistry at Bucknell University invites applications for an open-rank, tenure-track faculty position in physical organic chemistry to begin August 2017. The successful candidate will have a commitment to undergraduate education and will teach core-level courses and laboratories in organic chemistry and upper-level courses in physical organic chemistry, as well as participating in general chemistry courses on a rotating basis. Development of a strong research program in physical organic chemistry, broadly defined, that complements existing research in the department and involves undergraduate and MS-level research students is expected.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in chemistry or a closely related field. We seek to hire a person with the potential to be an outstanding teacher/scholar and to contribute to advancing diversity efforts within the sciences.
