Two immediate openings for a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Research Assistant Professor positions are available in Urban Research Group at Clemson University, Department of Materials Science and Engineering.
The main focus area is the development of stimuli-responsive polymers for energy applications. Research will focus on experimental studies of polymer-based materials. Candidates must have a PhD degree in chemistry, polymer or materials science or a closely related field. Knowledge of polymer synthesis, spectroscopy, or polymer physics will be beneficial. Qualified candidates with other background will be considered. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
The candidates for Research Assistant Professor should be able to work independently and actively work with graduate students. The search begins immediately and continues until the positions are filled.
