Visiting Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry One Year Appointment (2017-2018) Position Summary:

 

The Department of Chemistry at Gettysburg College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor in organic chemistry beginning August 2017. We seek individuals who have a genuine interest in teaching within the liberal arts environment and who will contribute to course offerings in both organic chemistry and general chemistry.  The teaching load for this position will be three courses each semester, where either a lecture or laboratory section is considered to be one course.  The opportunity to work with undergraduate research students is a possibility.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have a Ph.D. (or be ABD) in the area of organic chemistry. Teaching experience or promise of excellence in teaching is desirable.
